Smarter Balanced English Language Arts: Percent Met or Exceeded Standards

Indicator description

The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) administration consists of the Smarter Balanced English-language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics tests and the California Alternative Assessment (CAA) English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics tests. The indicator displays the percentage of students that met or exceed standards on the Smarter Balanced English Language Arts test.

Geographical coverage

Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) boundaries stretch across 720 square miles and include the City of Los Angeles as well as all or parts of 31 municipalities and several unincorporated regions of Southern California.
