California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) participants were asked the question “Does he/she currently have any physical, behavioral or mental conditions that limit or prevent his/her ability to do childhood activities usual for his/her age?”. This indicator is the percentage of parents who replied “Does not have condition” to the question. Children in CHIS is defined as under 12 years of age.
