Proxy indicator: There is currently no active armed conflict in the City of Los Angeles as defined by in International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Indicator 16.1.1 already reports all homicides in the City. This proxy indicator reports the numbers of victims that have been shot by a firearm in the city.
