Child violence crimes are crimes reported under the following codes in the LAPD “Crime Data from 2010 to Present” database: CHILD NEGLECT, CHILD ABUSE (PHYSICAL) - SIMPLE ASSAULT, CHILD ABUSE (PHYSICAL) - AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, CRM AGNST CHLD, CHILD ANNOYING, CHILD ABANDONMENT, LEWD/LASCIVIOUS ACTS WITH CHILD.
