The inmate population consists of various categories of inmates in broad groupings, including: pretrial, traditional county sentenced, AB 109 sentenced, AB109 sentenced with additional charges, parole/revocation violators, and those awaiting transfer to State prison. Pre-trial inmates are those who have an open case and have not been sentenced by the courts.
