Circulatory disease includes acute rheumatic fever, chronic rheumatic heart diseases, hypertensive diseases, ischaemic heart diseases, pulmonary heart disease and diseases of pulmonary circulation, other forms of heart disease, cerebrovascular diseases, diseases of arteries, arterioles and capillaries, diseases of veins, lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes, not elsewhere classified, and Other and unspecified disorders of the circulatory system. Respiratory disease includes diseases of the respiratory system, acute upper respiratory infections, influenza and pneumonia, other acute lower respiratory infections, other diseases of upper respiratory tract, chronic lower respiratory diseases, lung diseases due to external agents, other respiratory diseases principally affecting the interstitium, suppurative and necrotic conditions of lower respiratory tract, other diseases of pleura, other diseases of the respiratory system

Global indicator description

Probability of dying between the ages of 30 and 70 years from cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes or chronic respiratory diseases, defined as the per cent of 30-year-old-people who would die before their 70th birthday from cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, or chronic respiratory disease, assuming that s/he would experience current mortality rates at every age and s/he would not die from any other cause of death.
